In this energetic role, you'll craft delicious beverages, serve food with care, and ensure a welcoming environment that keeps customers coming back. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will drive the success of our bustling café, making each shift dynamic and rewarding. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately while providing exceptional customer service Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance Assist in food preparation and serving, including light food handling tasks to support overall café operations Requirements Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining focus and efficiency Basic understanding of the food industry, serving techniques, and food preparation practices Embark on a lively career where your passion for coffee meets your talent for creating joyful customer experiences.
