Duties Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to ensure a positive café experience Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and beverages following established recipes and standards Bake as needed per manager training Operate Square POS, handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds with precision using proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Follow food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales and promote menu items effectively Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills Qualifications Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café, and lift light supplies when needed Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings A positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment Join us as we serve up great coffee experiences while building your skills in the food service industry!
