☕ Experienced Barista - Founding Team Jammingos Coffee | Ventura County, CA Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities Available $21-24/hour DOE + Tips About Jammingos Jammingos is a new boutique coffee concept focused on specialty coffee, premium ingredients, wellness-inspired beverages, and exceptional customer experiences. We are seeking experienced baristas who are passionate about coffee, hospitality, and helping launch an exciting new brand. This is an opportunity to join our founding team and play a key role in shaping the culture and guest experience from day one. Position Overview We are looking for experienced baristas who can confidently prepare high-quality espresso beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced café environment. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, maintaining beverage consistency, and creating memorable guest experiences. Required Qualifications ✔ Minimum 1 year of barista experience in a high-volume coffee shop ✔ Experience dialing in espresso and operating commercial espresso equipment ✔ Strong milk steaming and drink preparation skills ✔ Knowledge of espresso beverages, coffee brewing methods, and café operations ✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills ✔ Reliable transportation and dependable attendance ✔ Ability to multitask and maintain composure during busy periods Preferred Qualifications ⭐ Specialty coffee experience ⭐ Latte art skills ⭐ Experience with Toast POS ⭐ Previous opening or startup café experience ⭐ Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain) Responsibilities Prepare espresso beverages, coffee, tea, matcha, and specialty drinks to company standards Deliver outstanding customer service and hospitality Operate POS system and accurately process transactions Maintain café cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards Assist with opening and closing duties Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs Support team members during peak periods Uphold the Jammingos brand and guest experience standards What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Cash and credit card tips Employee food and beverage discounts Complimentary shift drinks Growth opportunities as the company expands Positive, supportive, and professional work environment To Apply Please submit: Resume Brief introduction about yourself Years of barista experience Availability Favorite coffee drink We are specifically seeking experienced baristas who take pride in their craft, enjoy building relationships with customers, and want to help create one of Ventura County's most exciting new coffee concepts.
