Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu options, and recommend products to enhance their experience. Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent communication skills with an energetic approach to engaging customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
