Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide selection of teas and specialty beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards. Engage with customers in a friendly, energetic manner, providing expert recommendations and answering questions about our menu offerings. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by properly handling food items, adhering to food safety protocols, and managing food preparation areas. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and reporting shortages or issues. Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized café environment that promotes safety and efficiency. Experience Previous barista experience in a café or food service setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in sales transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques, along with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Experience in food handling, serving, or food safety practices ensures compliance with health standards. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail. Background in the food industry or retail math is advantageous for understanding inventory control and sales processes.
