Barista/Chai Maker

Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista/Chai Maker to join the Karak House Coffee Co. team. This role combines a passion for exceptional customer service with expertise in preparing high-quality coffee, chai, and other beverages. The ideal candidate will deliver a warm and welcoming experience for every guest while maintaining our standards of excellence and efficiency. Key Responsibilities 1.

Beverage Preparation:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including Karak chai, specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served. Understand the unique flavor profiles of Karak House Coffee Co. offerings and communicate them effectively to customers. 2.

Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers to enhance their experience, answer menu-related questions, and provide recommendations. Handle customer complaints or special requests in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction. 3.

Operational Duties:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the preparation and serving areas. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Monitor inventory levels for chai ingredients, coffee beans, and other supplies; inform the manager when restocking is necessary. 4.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts. Assist with training new staff as needed. Support other team roles, including food preparation and cashier duties, when required. 5.

Knowledge Development:

Stay updated on Karak House Coffee Co.'s menu items, seasonal offerings, and promotions. Participate in training sessions to improve beverage-making techniques and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a barista or chai maker is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong understanding of beverage preparation, including frothing milk, brewing coffee, and steeping tea. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. A positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
