The Barista helps create a warm, welcoming environment for church members, guests, and volunteers by preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, offering friendly service, and fostering a sense of community. The Barista shows hospitality by ensuring that everyone feels cared for and valued, and will uphold standards of excellence while serving in a faith-based, service-oriented setting. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages consistently according to FAITH café recipes and standards. Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the FAITH's heart for hospitality. Greet and engage with guests warmly, providing excellent customer service. Operate coffee equipment safely and properly, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing systems. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized café and service area. Assist with café setup and breakdown before and after services. Monitor and restock supplies to ensure availability during services. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
