Barista / Closing Shift (FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS)

• We pay 18/hr + tips
• We are looking for a reliable and motivated Barista to join our newly opened coffee shop located next to the Hampton Inn in Gunbarrel (Boulder).

We opened 2 months ago and are growing quickly, with a grand opening planned for July. Our space is large and unique, with a coffee shop, two dining rooms, conference room, and a massive rooftop that is used for events, yoga classes, and gatherings. We serve coffee, breakfast, and lunch, but we operate as a café-style counter service, so customers order and pay at the front, no table serving required, just light bussing and keeping the space clean. Right now the business is still building, so some shifts are slower, and you may work independently at times. This is a great position for someone who wants to grow with a new business.

Schedule Start time:

10 AM (closing shift)

• café opens at 6:30AM End time: around 2:30 PM
• cafe closes at 2 PM 1-3 days per week
• Fridays & Saturdays are our busiest days so help is needed!

Opportunity for some extra shifts depending on request off from baristas already working with us 4-5 hours per shift, with possibility for more as business grows We are open Mon-Sat 6:30AM-2PM, closed on Sundays for now Possibility of opening on Sundays in July, must have availability on sundays at least once a month Responsibilities Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, teas, smoothies, etc. Take orders at the counter (café system, not table service) Light bussing and keeping tables clean Restocking and prep Provide friendly customer service Work independently when needed Help with future events as we grow Must be available also for opening the café in the morning, setting up equipment and ensuring cleanliness standards are met (that will be needed when other baristas request opening shifts OFF) Requirements Barista experience preferred Must be reliable and punctual Comfortable working alone at times Positive attitude and team mindset Benefits Hired as a Hampton Inn employee (hotel benefits included) Flexible schedule Opportunity for more hours as business grows Relaxed and friendly work environment Unique space with rooftop, events, and classes About Us We are a newly opened café next to the Hampton Inn, building a large multi-use space with coffee shop, breakfast & lunch service, rooftop seating, conference room, and future events.
