As a Brewista, you will be the heart of our coffee experience, crafting exceptional beverages and delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty brews, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for orders, payments, and transactions. Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation protocols. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling light food items or snacks to complement beverage offerings. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth café operations. Experience Previous barista experience in a café or food service environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with coffee industry standards, serving techniques, and food safety regulations. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume hours. Knowledge of retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests. Background in food handling, food safety practices, and food preparation within the food industry is desirable.
