Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items in accordance with company standards. Engage with customers warmly, providing personalized service to enhance their café experience. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols. Manage time effectively to handle busy periods while ensuring accuracy in cashiering and food preparation. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. Requirements Previous barista or food service experience is preferred, especially within a café or retail environment. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting through effective time management. Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques. Experience with serving beverages and food items while maintaining high quality standards. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks associated with café operations.
