Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to company standards. Handle all cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and POS operations. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and handling. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers quickly without sacrificing quality. Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations. Qualifications Prior barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café area, and lift moderate loads as needed. Previous experience in food service or retail environments is a plus.
