As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge, making each visit memorable. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items with precision and care. Operate the Aloha POS system to process transactions efficiently. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items to ensure availability. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting is desirable. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
