In this dynamic role, you will craft delicious coffee beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and handle cashiering duties with precision. Your passion for food and beverage, combined with your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, will ensure a memorable experience for all visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your merchandising skills in a fast-paced, solo setting while contributing to a lively community hub and using your strategic thinking to attract walkby beach traffic to our storefront. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with attention to quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Shift4 POS and Square POS accurately for transactions, orders, and payments Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café environment Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed Evaluate and implement engaging outdoor music solutions to pull street traffic for products spanning generations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Innovate Requirements Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred; strong passion for coffee is a plus Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as serving and food prep Reliable team player with a positive attitude eager to learn and grow within the café environment Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where every guest leaves satisfied!
