The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding our offerings. Maintain cleanliness in the café area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment, adhering to food safety standards. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods while maintaining high-quality standards. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a café or retail environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is beneficial. Basic knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A genuine interest in coffee preparation and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
