(this is a indoor play cafe/gym with a coffee shop inside)As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will also have to reset, clean, sanitize the play area and help families with equipment if needed. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a family friendly environment and have a love for coffee and toddlers! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items according to established recipes and standards. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders accurately and addressing customer inquiries. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, food items, and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Stay informed about menu offerings and promotions to effectively engage with customers. Qualifications Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus. great customer service skills Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being capable of working alone and self-motivated. Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is desirable.
