Bakery, Barista & Cashier

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our front-of-house team, handling both specialty coffee preparation and bakery service. Responsibilities As a Barista & Bakery Attendant, you are a key part of our guest experience.

Your duties will include:

Greeting customers warmly and taking food and beverage orders to-go accurately. Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and teas, following company recipes, bakery builds and standards. Operating coffee equipment such as espresso machines and grinders, and performing light maintenance and cleaning. Handling and presenting baked goods and other food items, ensuring attractive displays and proper serving sizes. Operating the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and handling cash, credit, and gift card transactions with precision. Maintaining a clean and organized work area , including the coffee bar, display cases, and customer seating areas, in adherence to food safety guidelines. Answering customer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens. Monitoring inventory of coffee beans, syrups, cups, lids, and bakery items, reporting low stock to management. Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth flow of service, especially during busy periods. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a barista or in a food service/customer service role is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills ; an outgoing and friendly personality is a must. Strong ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions and measurements. Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight (up to 25 lbs). Must be 18 years or older A is required (can be obtained within 60 days of employment).
