Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of kava, botanical teas, and mood-boosting elixirs with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, educating them about our products and helping them choose their ideal plant-based buzz. Foster a sense of community and belonging for every member of our tribe. Manage POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties responsibly. Assist with food service when needed, ensuring timely delivery. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve all guests without sacrificing quality or service speed. Collaborate with team members to create a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender, barista, or in a customer-facing role in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems is essential for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly during high-volume shifts. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling and accurate order processing. A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and guest satisfaction. A passion for kava, herbal teas, and creating a welcoming, alcohol-free community. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special events.
