We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic customer care specialist to join our team at Friend of the Farmer Cafe. This role is essential to ensure fabulous customer experience and ensure operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and food safety and handling practices. Responsibilities Prepare coffees and drinks per customer order Obtain order requests from customers and ensure timely completion of orders Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Support chefs in cooking tasks Handle food items safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist with inventory management by checking supplies and completing reorder forms. Participate in catering events as needed, helping to set up and serve food to guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Knowledge of meal preparation and food handling practices is highly desirable. Experience in the food industry or culinary field will be considered an asset. A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety is crucial. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
