Kavatender/Barista Job Description Our Estero Kava Bar is looking for an experienced Kavatender to join our growing tribe. What makes this position unique is the ability to earn as much as you'd like and build a community around what you love. The base rate for this role is $10.98 per hour plus tips. This role is part-time with the possibility of moving into more shifts based on job performance. Everyone starts at one or two shifts per week. Schedules are flexible for those with another job. Bartending/Barista /Hospitality experience is required. We are currently hiring primarily for the morning shift (7:00am-2:00pm), but are interested in hearing from potential candidates for our other day parts. (pm- 7:00pm-12:30am & mid- 2:00pm-8:00pm)

This is a solo gig! You must feel confident in managing the bar and its vibe during your shift and be able to work independently. Sometimes Kavatenders are the only employees in the bar. YOU. RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare non-alcohol plant-based botanical beverages Interact with guests, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks with enthusiasm Use sales tactics to improve shift sales Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Able to work autonomously while upholding company standards Promote a positive atmosphere within the bar Social media posting (Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook) Be a valuable and responsible member of the Tribe!

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven working experience as a bartender/kavatender/server/barista Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean Team and growth orientated Ability to multitask and work quick on your feet Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus Check out Kava Culture Estero on Facebook & Instagram OR stop into our location to see what our tribe and vibe are all about.
