Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cashiering and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food service stations and seating areas Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience Manage time effectively during busy shifts to prioritize tasks, restock supplies, and ensure smooth operations Skills Proven experience as a barista or in the food industry with strong coffee-making skills Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during evening hours Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation, and food handling standards Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales reconciliation Basic math skills for managing transactions, measuring ingredients, and inventory checks Join us as an Evening Barista where your enthusiasm fuels memorable guest experiences!
