  • $15 an hour + tips 10 hours ago Benefits Paid training Employee discount Qualifications Food production Spanish Customer communication Pre-cooking preparation Basic math Numeracy Full Job Description We are looking to hire a full time dedicated and reliable Boba Tea & cafe Barista and cashier.
During the length of the training period your pay will be $13 but it will go to $15 per hour (+ shared tips) if you keep a good work ethic. You should exercise exceptional time management and ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner. Ultimately, an outstanding Barista & Cashier should be able to comply with all food health and safety regulations. Your raise can be raised up very quickly, it will depend on how well you work.
  • No Experience Required， Spanish speaking preferrable.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of Tea beverages, such as bubble tea, slush, and fruit tea
  • Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
  • Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea bar area
  • Follow recipes and guidelines for food preparation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
  • Upsell additional products or menu items to customers
Skills:
  • Experience in cash handling and operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and experience in the food industry
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Sales skills to promote additional products or menu items
