Barista

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista / Server to join our team in a vibrant café environment. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations. Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines during food handling and preparation. Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Previous barista experience or background in the coffee industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely beverage preparation and service.
