Afternoon shift: 2:30 to 6:30 Fri, Sat, Sun are required along with 2-3 additional weekdays. $15.00/her plus tips. Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience. Operate the Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Handle food items safely in compliance with food handling regulations. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience. Stay informed about menu items, promotions, and new products to effectively communicate with customers. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
