$20-$25 per hour + travel accommodations + per diem opportunities About Express Kafeh Express Kafeh is a national mobile espresso catering company specializing in high-end corporate events, trade shows, conventions, luxury activations, and hospitality experiences across the United States. We operate espresso bars at some of the largest events in the country and are looking for reliable, professional, hospitality-driven baristas who can represent our brand at the highest level. This is not a traditional café position. This role is for someone who can handle fast-paced events, early mornings, travel schedules, demanding clients, and high-volume service while maintaining professionalism and energy. Position Overview - We are hiring On-Call Traveling Baristas. Baristas are scheduled based on event needs and availability. Some events are local, while others require air travel, hotel stays, long shifts, overnight setup schedules, and multi-day convention work. Ideal candidates are dependable, adaptable, polished, and comfortable working in high-pressure hospitality environments. Responsibilities Prepare espresso-based beverages efficiently and consistently Set up and break down mobile espresso stations Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout events Interact professionally with corporate clients and guests Handle high-volume service during peak event hours Follow operational procedures and event timelines precisely Assist with loading/unloading equipment when needed Communicate with project managers and event leads in real time Represent Express Kafeh professionally at all times Requirements Prior barista experience preferred Hospitality, catering, restaurant, hotel, or event experience is a major plus Must be comfortable traveling frequently Must be able to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and long event shifts Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift 40-50 lbs Strong communication and customer service skills Valid drivers license Reliable transportation to airport/local event locations Professional appearance required Must follow company dress code standards (all-black professional attire) Important Expectations This position is best suited for people who: Actually enjoy fast-paced event environments Are dependable and responsive Can adapt quickly under pressure Understand that hospitality is performance-based Show up on time, prepared, and professional What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Travel opportunities nationwide Hotel and flight accommodations for travel events Opportunity to work major conventions, corporate activations, and luxury events Flexible on-call scheduling Growth opportunities into lead barista and event management roles Preferred Experience Specialty coffee experience Trade show or catering experience Experience working large-scale events Experience with semi-automatic espresso machines
