The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that they enjoy their experience from the moment they walk in. Duties Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management. Follow food safety guidelines and maintain hygiene standards during food preparation and service. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Participate in training sessions for new equipment or menu items as needed. Qualifications Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe environment for customers. Experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with cash register operations; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a friendly team atmosphere.
