Full-time Position Summary Rate:
14 per hour + tips The Service / Attendant is a Front of the House position responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through outstanding customer service, accurate frozen yogurt preparation, and maintaining high presentation and cleanliness standards. This role combines hospitality, attention to detail, and product knowledge to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for every guest. The Server / Attendant serves as a key representative of the Meli Greek brand by preparing visually appealing frozen yogurt products, assisting guests with menu selections, and supporting the overall efficiency of daily restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Hospitality Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner Always provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive and memorable guest experience Answer customer questions regarding frozen yogurt flavors, toppings, ingredients, beverages, and menu items Make recommendations and assist guests with menu selections when appropriate Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance while interacting with guests Promote a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable restaurant atmosphere Frozen Yogurt Preparation & Food Handling Prepare and serve frozen yogurt orders accurately and efficiently based on guest requests Create visually appealing yogurt presentations with proper toppings and portioning standards Demonstrate consistency, attention to detail, and pride in every product served Maintain expert knowledge of menu items, flavors, toppings, and ingredients Ensure proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation standards are always followed Restock toppings, cups, utensils, and service station supplies as needed Cashier & POS Support Assist with customer order taking and POS operations as needed Process guest transactions accurately and responsibly Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment methods according to company procedures Ensure accuracy in guest orders and transactions Front of House Operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of all Front of the House areas, including counters, service stations, dining areas, and guest-facing spaces Perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the shift Support opening and closing duties, including cleaning, stocking, and operational preparation Assist with maintaining product displays and presentation standards Support efficient service flow during peak business hours while maintaining quality and hospitality standards Teamwork & Operational Support Work collaboratively with team members and management to support daily restaurant operations Communicate effectively with Front of the House and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and operational flow Participate in trainings, meetings, and operational initiatives as assigned Follow all company safety, sanitation, attendance, and workplace policies Perform additional duties and responsibilities based on business and operational needs Qualifications Previous customer service, restaurant, retail, dessert shop, or hospitality experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude Strong attention to detail and food presentation Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Training & Onboarding Training may include, but is not limited to: Customer service and hospitality standards Product and menu knowledge Frozen yogurt preparation and presentation standards POS system operation and cashier procedures Food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Opening and closing operational procedures Company policies and service expectations Additional Responsibilities Assist with opening and closing procedures Support inventory organization and restocking tasks Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout assigned work areas Report operational, safety, maintenance, or guest-related concerns to management promptly Support overall team productivity and guest satisfaction initiatives Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient service flow Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo:
