Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair. Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit. Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, tables, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food handling and preparation tasks for light food items or bake goods as needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service while maintaining high-quality standards. Support sales initiatives by recommending menu items and upselling when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction. Follow all food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced retail café environment. Qualifications Previous barista experience; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus! Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a lively café setting. Previous experience in food service or retail is beneficial; training will be provided for the right candidate.
