In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, crafting exceptional coffee beverages, delivering outstanding customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere where customers feel valued and satisfied. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair. Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a positive experience for every guest. Operate POS system Toast for order processing, payments, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and serving counters. Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and preparation techniques. Manage cash register transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for sales and change. Support food service operations by assisting with food preparation, serving food items, and ensuring quality standards are met. Requirements Proven experience as a barista or in a similar café or food service environment. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization. Familiarity with POS systems is highly preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Effective time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
