Cashier & Barista

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cashier/Barista person to join our food service team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, combining exceptional customer service with boba tea barista drink preparation, and dining room and bathroom clean up throughout your shift. This is an hourly wage + shared tips position. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals that are passionate about food, service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Handle cash register operations accurately, processing orders and payments swiftly while providing friendly service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and bathroom areas by adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Prepare boba tea and/or drink preparation for daily service, as specified by the manager on duty Serve customers with enthusiasm, taking orders and answering questions about menu items confidently Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Be a reliable employee that's punctual, a self-starter, with a strong ability to follow instructions and remain mindful of assigned duties Experience Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required. Job training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices is expected to maintain high standards of hygiene A background in the food industry combined with excellent social skills will contribute to your success in this role Applicants must be at least 18 years old to serve bottled alcohol

Pay:

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
