Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate POS systems s. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing special requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks such as serving snacks or light meals to enhance the guest experience. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards. Qualifications Prior experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes. Experience using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor. Ability to handle cash accurately, perform retail math confidently, and manage food handling procedures responsibly. Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and basic food preparation techniques.
