Pay is competitive and based on experience, with higher starting rates for experienced Barista. Your passion for excellent customer service and food handling will ensure each visitor leaves satisfied and eager to return. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment on Historic Corey Ave on St Pete Beach. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care and love. Operate POS system Toast to process transactions quickly and accurately, training provided. Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit. Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail and accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to food handling regulations. Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic food handling and serving to ensure timely service. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques is required. Proven cashiering skills with familiarity in POS system Toast. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced café environment. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
