We are Daycation Coffee, a newly opened specialty coffee and tea shop located in sunny St Pete, FL. Check out our Instagram @daycationcoffee for more shop updates :) We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to join our team and grow with us. This Lead Barista position will work with the Shop Manager/ Owner closely to deliver shop operations and provide excellent customer service with all other team members on a daily basis.

• Key Responsibilities
• Complete the required paid training
• Lead to follow the set recipe and SOP to prepare drinks and food
• Lead the espresso bar and quality control all drinks/food before serving.
• Ensure all customers receive outstanding service
• Hand-wash dishes and maintain a clean and organized shop environment
• Monitor inventory levels and report to the Shop Manager promptly
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately
• Work with the team to create new and seasonal offerings
• Assist in creating/brainstorming social media content, when necessary
• Requirements
• (MUST) Passion for coffee, tea, and hospitality
• At least 2 years of Barista experience at a specialty coffee shop is required
• Latte art skills are required
• Excellent communications, time management, and organizational skills
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
• Familiarity with Square POS systems
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
• Florida Food Handler Certificate is required within 60 days of the start date
