Pay Rate:

$15-$16 per hour plus tips ($24-$25 average with tips) Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Operate the Square POS system for processing transactions efficiently. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of supplies and ingredients. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while delivering outstanding service. Qualifications Previous experience as a Barista is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
