Tips included Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, providing detailed product knowledge about coffee, food items, and beverages Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and light snacks with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards Manage order flow efficiently by prioritizing tasks using effective time management skills during busy periods Restock supplies regularly to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure safety and quality in all food service activities Qualifications Previous barista or coffee experience is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours Join us as a Cafe Team Member where your energy fuels our success!
