We are looking for someone who can create an experience, build relationships with customers, confidently recommend products, and help drive sales every shift. This role is perfect for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys talking to people, and wants to be part of a growing cafe brand with coffee, matcha, refreshers, food, functional mushroom enhancers, and a strong community feel. What You'll Do As a barista at Eclipse Cafe, you will be responsible for creating excellent drinks, delivering standout customer service, and helping every guest discover something they love.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greet every customer with warmth, confidence, and positive energy Take orders accurately and guide customers through the menu Recommend drinks, food items, combos, and functional mushroom enhancers Upsell in a natural, helpful way without being pushy Make espresso drinks, matcha, refreshers, frappes, cold brew, and other cafe beverages Prepare and serve food items according to Eclipse Cafe standards Maintain a clean, organized, and fast-moving workspace Support drive-thru and dine-in guests with speed and accuracy Handle customer concerns professionally and calmly Create a welcoming environment that makes guests want to come back Work with the team to hit daily sales, service, and customer experience goals What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is not just "nice," but genuinely engaging, aware, and sales-minded.

A strong candidate will be:

Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations Confident recommending products to customers Strong in customer service and hospitality Fast-moving and able to stay calm during busy rushes Reliable, punctual, and accountable Coachable and open to feedback Able to work well with a team Detail-oriented when making drinks and taking orders Positive, upbeat, and professional Interested in health, wellness, coffee, matcha, or functional mushrooms Barista experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person if they have the right attitude, energy, and work ethic. Sales Expectations At Eclipse Cafe, sales are part of service. We do not want robotic order-taking. We want our team to help customers find what they actually want. You should be comfortable saying things like: "Would you like to make that a combo today?" "Our Lion's Mane enhancer is great if you want focus." "That drink is really good with cold foam." "Have you tried our pancakes in a cup yet?" "We just launched lunch — our Hot Honey Chicken Panini is one of our best sellers." The goal is not to pressure customers. The goal is to educate, recommend, and create a better experience. Customer Service Expectations Every guest should feel seen, welcomed, and taken care of. We want team members who can create regulars, not just transactions.

You should be able to:
