Duties Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, beverages, and light food items following established recipes and safety standards. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for sales totals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces, adhering to food safety regulations. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations. Assist with food handling, food preparation, and serving duties to support team members as needed. Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing guest inquiries professionally and ensuring a positive experience. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in the food industry with strong coffee knowledge. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in serving or food service roles is highly desirable.
