This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a lively café or restaurant environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, POS systems, and a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Previous barista or coffee experience is a plus, along with excellent time management skills. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry while working in a dynamic setting. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring excellent customer service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to maintain cleanliness and compliance Manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously through effective time management Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including tables, counters, and service stations Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling protocols Experience Previous experience in food service or café environments preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable Experience as a barista or with coffee preparation is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods and multitask efficiently Experience in serving, retail math, or the food industry will be advantageous This role requires a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
