The ideal candidate will have a love for boba and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting boba drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of boba drinks beverages and other menu items. Operate POS systems efficiently for order taking and payment processing. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering any questions or concerns. Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math skills for register operations. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience. Requirements Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to ensure you are fit for the role. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with POS systems (Clover) is a plus. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. Time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures in the food industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
