Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair. Handle food preparation and food handling tasks, ensuring all items meet safety and quality standards. Operate POS system "TOAST" to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas. Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic retail math calculations. Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry, with strong coffee knowledge preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like TOAST for smooth transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Strong sales skills to promote menu items and upsell when appropriate. Exceptional customer service abilities to create welcoming interactions that enhance guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
