Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders at the front desk, ensuring a friendly and engaging experience Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items following established food safety and food handling protocols Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cash register operations, change giving, and balancing cash drawers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu items, recommending products, and addressing concerns promptly Support food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and health regulations Requirements Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably within the workspace, and lift light loads when necessary Experience in serving or food preparation within a café or retail environment is desirable Join us if you're passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can enjoy great coffee, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere!
