Barista (Morning Shift & Closing Shift)

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Japanese matcha dessert and customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and desserts according to standard recipes. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for cash handling and processing transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Engage with customers to create a positive experience and encourage repeat visits. Requirements Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy setting. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
