Barista

A DineAmic barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverage products while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves operating coffee equipment, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring each guest has a positive experience. This is an hourly, tipped position. Essential Responsibilities + Duties Prepare espresso-based drinks brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards (using a manual espresso machine) Take customer orders accurately and make menu recommendations Handle transactions using POS systems and process payments Restock ingredients, cups, lids, condiments, and merchandise Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service Regularly clean equipment, counters, and work areas Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked café Additional duties as needed withing the scope of the role

Minimum Qualifications Experience:

1+ years of experience as a barista

Certification:

Current SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). Work Environment:

Must be able to stand for long period od time, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance. Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment for extended periods. Must be able to perform repetitive motions, including mixing, stirring, and pouring The position requires flexibility to work early mornings Must be able to move safely through kitchen area, including slick floors and tight spaces.
