The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction while fostering a welcoming atmosphere. •Must have WEEKEND availability• Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Engage with customers to create a friendly environment and encourage repeat visits. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies; communicate needs to management. Experience Previous experience in sales or retail is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of different coffee types is a plus. Experience in the food industry is beneficial; understanding food safety practices is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy café setting. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
