Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and care Engage actively with customers to take orders, answer questions, and recommend menu options Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations Follow food safety protocols and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to at all times Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a welcoming environment for all guests Requirements Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred, especially within cafés or retail environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting Previous experience in the food industry or coffee experience is a plus Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering fresh flavors and exceptional service!
