Full Job Description About Us:

Common Good Cocktail House is a cocktail bar and café focused on creativity, quality ingredients, and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. By day, we serve a curated menu of innovative cold brew-based drinks. By night, we transform into a high-volume craft cocktail bar. We're a small, tight-knit team and are looking for someone who wants to be part of something long-term.

Position Overview:

We're hiring a reliable and motivated team member to work our early morning café shift. This role combines light barista work (no espresso experience required) with hands-on kitchen prep to support our cocktail program. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a relaxed but productive environment and is interested in learning both coffee and cocktail operations.

Schedule:

Typical shift: 6:20 AM

• 12:00 PM Weekend availability is a plus

What You'll Do:

Prepare and serve cold brew-based coffee drinks and specialty lattes Maintain a clean, organized café workspace Assist with daily prep for cocktail service (juices, syrups, batching, etc.) Support the team with general opening tasks Deliver friendly, welcoming service to guests

What We're Looking For:

Must be 21+ Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently in the morning Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to stay busy and switch between tasks Experience in coffee, food service, or bar prep is a plus—but not required

Growth Opportunities:

This role can expand into additional shifts and responsibilities. Team members have the opportunity to cross-train in cocktail service and grow into busier, higher-earning evening shifts.
