Full-time or Part-time Available Pay:

$17 - $18 per hour + tips Typical earnings exceed $23/hour including tips At Wired Cafe, we're looking for team members who enjoy working with people, take pride in great food and coffee, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a cross-trained position that supports both our front-of-house and back-of-house teams. One moment you may be preparing espresso drinks and helping guests at the register; the next, you may be assisting the kitchen with food preparation, plating, or keeping operations running smoothly during busy service periods. What You'll Do Front of House Welcome guests and provide friendly service Take orders and operate the POS system Prepare coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages Maintain a clean and organized café environment Answer questions about menu items and offerings Back of House Support Food preparation and assembly Help with plating and order fulfillment during rush periods Stock ingredients and supplies Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness Support kitchen staff as needed What We're Looking For Positive attitude and strong work ethic Comfortable learning both customer-facing and kitchen responsibilities Team-oriented mindset Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Preferred Qualifications Previous café, restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience Barista experience is a plus but not required Food service experience is a plus but not required What You'll Gain Cross-training in coffee, hospitality, and food service Complimentary Shift Meals & Shift Drinks Employee discounts

Requirements:

Ability to work early mornings often Availability to work Saturdays regularly (rotating schedule) Possess or be willing to obtain Illinois Food Handler Certification No prior barista experience required.
