Barista Cashier

Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light meals as needed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction Qualifications Prior experience as a barista or in cofee shop/food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation and serving techniques Proficiency with POS systems such as Clover POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in coffee, food service, and retail operations.
