Whether you're preparing specialty drinks or managing the POS system, your positive attitude and attention to detail will be essential in creating a welcoming environment. This paid position presents an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards Operate POS systems such as Square efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas Manage cash register operations accurately using basic math skills for transactions and retail math calculations Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and health regulations Huge bonus if you have experiance baking/cooking, cross trained front and back of house Requirements Previous barista experience or coffee industry background preferred; strong coffee experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in serving or food service roles within cafés or retail environments is beneficial Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced setting Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding café experiences!
