A DAY IN THE LIFE A

Barista is responsible to ensure that our customers have the best experience possible!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve beverages, as well as various food offerings, in accordance with established service standards (i.e. coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, pastries) Performs shift opening and closing duties as assigned Clean, sanitize and maintain the store Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed Stock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as needed Efficiently serve customers by being knowledgeable of offerings Stay up-to-date with personalized online training Communicate with Baristas, Store Manager and Shift Leads Additional duties as assigned The Washington, Indiana store is targeted to open in late October or early November 2025. Paid training will occur prior to store opening. You are applying to work with a franchisee of Scooter's Coffee. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own terms of employment, including wage, training, and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees. Workdays are Monday-Sunday and Holidays. We are closed Christmas Day and close early on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
