Mobile Barista - Travelin Toms

Position Overview:

As a Mobile Coffee Truck Barista, you'll be the face of our brand, serving up a variety of espresso-based beverages to our customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for coffee, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet customers with a smile, take orders, and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Prepare Beverages:

Craft a variety of drinks ensuring consistency and quality with every cup.

Truck Maintenance:

Ensure the coffee truck is clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies. Help with basic maintenance and restocking of equipment as needed.

Cash Handling:

Process transactions accurately using cash or POS system and ensure proper cash handling procedures.

Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels, inform the manager of low stock, and help with restocking supplies.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring food and drink preparation areas are sanitized and safe at all times. Promote the

REQUIREMENTS

Previous barista experience preferred, but not required. We're happy to train the right candidate! Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, mobile environment Passion for coffee and creating great customer experiences Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have a flexible schedule and be available for early mornings, weekends, and occasional evening shifts Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (e.g., coffee beans, equipment, and supplies) Valid driver's license and clean driving record (driving the coffee truck will be required) Must be 18 years of age Travelin' Tom's is a dynamic and growing mobile coffee truck offering high-quality coffee and delicious drinks to coffee lovers across Kansas City.
